Bridal

Tier One - The Basics 250€

A nip here, a tuck there. These are basic alterations I see on almost every bride.

  • Hemming of dress and lining

  • Taking in/out around the hips and/or waist (working along seams)

  • Altering Straps

Tier Two - The Extra Mile 350€

Here, solutions get a little less straightforward. It could include a bunch of things, but these are some common examples.

  • Altering slits/drapery/necklines

  • Adding bustles

  • Horsehair hems

  • Detaching/reattaching sleeves

Tier Three - Making a dress that doesn’t fit you, fit. 450€

You likely bought a dress in the sample sale, and it’s not your size. We’re changing the proportions of the dress and making structural alterations. Barely a centimeter goes untouched.

  • Taking in corseted (boned) bodice

  • Adding lace-up back closure to extend back

  • Rework the bust cups

Tier Four - Artisanal Details from 500€

This basically includes anything that requires moving large amounts of lace appliqué or reworking beading. In this tier, we can also add custom elements such as sleeves, trains, and petticoats.

Bridal dresses and their fit are as unique as the brides wearing them. Because there are a million different fabrics and finishes on wedding garments, it’s really hard to put a price on alterations before seeing the dress on you. See three different general teirs of alterations below for a little bit of guidance on pricing, but please keep in mind that a final price will be determined upon your first fitting.
